Money grubbing whores!

Let me tell you, there is truly nothing worse than knowing people that are broke.
It's just my luck that I so happen to know many people that are nothing but broke ass bitches and have no problems asking me for money... Continuously...
What the fuck?
Because I got a fucking job, you think it's ok to ask me for money? To pay your fucking bills?
Seriously, this shit is getting old... And I'm gonna quit!

Oh GAWD. I have been wanting to post this on my own blog for a long time, and have resisted because of who reads it.

We have some friends of ours that live in a house 3 times the size of ours, and are living WAY beyond their means. Blaming it on the economy, they have a LOT of trouble paying their bills every month. While they have only hinted around at the idea of borrowing money, they are quick to back out of the carpool when its their turn to haul kids around (because of some things that "just came up") simply because they can't afford gas in their damn vehicles.

It irritates me. Wanna have a house payment that is more than what I make in a month? NOT MY PROBLEM.

Whew. I almost feel better.

That sucks! I cant imagine. We have one family member who does this and it is totally odd and uncomfortable and they are a FAMILY member. Stick to your guns.

You know I stop by your blog from time to time because I enjoy it. Today was the perfect day. I have a business, and someone bounced me a check for $500 three months ago. I was nice, I offered to let her make payments, I offered to let her bring my stuff back, nothing. Regular excuses: was in the hospital, was uncomfortable comeing in the store, didn't know what to say, etc. Now she is supposed to have a job and pay me today after I threatened to turn over her checks to the police. Like you, I WORK. Its tough for me to make ends meet. Bouncing checks to me is like STEALING. The bitch better come in today or I'm turning her checks over to the PD! Thanks for letting me vent, it was a perfect day for that.
Take care, Sue

I feel you. I don't even have a job and people still ask me for money. It's like really, how do you think I can afford to pay your bills and the kicker is that they are working. Trust I said step off and pay your own way.

It's always very awkward when friends ask for money. I've done it and I've said no. But anymore, I will either say "here" and just give it to them and be perfectly clear that it isn't a loan - and that I'm giving it to them. Or I'll say that I can't do it. I'm not into the loaning business anymore. But it's always a very tough spot to be in. And sometimes I think it's rude how or when they ask.

Funny enough I'm one of those having financial issues. But I'd never ask from friends. I had a good handful offer me money. Just offer it. I told them no thanks. Because I don't want to feel indebted to them. I told one that if she wants to give me $ then she also has to give me work she needs done. There are those of us who do not live high on the hog but certainly are living above our means, in that paying the necessary bills like rent and electricity is above our means at the moment. And yes it irks me when I see ppl in big homes with nice cars and flat screen tvs bitch to me about their $ issues or paying me a reasonable fee for the work I do for them.
