4/9/08 Johnny Cakes
So,
I went to the store yesterday to pick up some household stuff. Of
course my husband had to accompany me with my 5 kids in tow. Now, I
realize that I look like a freak whenever I take all 5 kids out with me
anywhere, but the attention I got yesterday wasn't because of my 5
crazy ,screaming, begging kids. Nope, it was because of my husband and
the "johnny cake".My husband is obsessed with the toilet bowl. I have
no idea as to why, but he his. The toilet hangy device thingys that
smell like moth balls , my husband named them johnny cakes. Well, as we
went to the store yesterday, he of course picked up 5 new "johnny
cakes". The price of the JC'S used to be 50cents a piece and now over
the past week are 69 cents. My husband pitched a fit in the middle of
the aisle talking about the economy and how there's a price fluctuation
with everything now. "But Johnny cakes, now this is going way too
far". "How do you justify the price hike in johnny cakes"? I was so
embarrassed, I had no answer for him or the 6 other people starring at
me. I think that the look on my face made him shutup and think about
what he was actually talking about..mmmmm Johnny Cakes....
